Comfortable stay

The castle / hotel is surrounded by nature and the location is cozy and dreamy! We slept in the tower in a big comfortable room. The room however was a bit warm and no AC was available. The outside temperature was around 23 F. The restaurant offered good German food however a bit pricy. The spa was very nice with many sauna options, though some areas were not allowing kids so you need to bare that in mind you visit as a family as we did.

A pleasant stay but the service was unpolite from 2 different receptionists. Maybe there was a language barrier or non-german customers were not allowed here. I would have expected better service. The pool area was quite small but renovated. The gym was also small but functional. Rooms were spacious. Some problems with getting cold drinking water from the water tap. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

We really loved our stay here that we booked ourselves another night. They have proper beds and the rooms are neat. They provide a bag with bathrobes and slippers which you can take to the spa. The spa and wellness area is very good and relaxing. Everything was working apart from the foot bath area. They have a couple of different saunas. Everything is well organised and clean. I think we’d be back visiting this place again.

Vakker slottsopplevelse

Så vakkert hotell, virkelig supert gjennomført! Rommet var veldig stort og man følte at man fikk god valuta for pengene! Vi spiste en helt fortreffelig middag og vi følte oss meget godt tatt vare på. Etter middag gikk vi opp i baren, som ligger i slottet. Det var et utrolig vakkert bygg og det løftet opplevelsen ennå et hakk! Frokosten var meget god med passelig utvalg. Eneste jeg syns var synd under oppholdet var åpningstidene i basseng og saunaer. Det var ikke tilrettelagt for de som ønsker en tidelig økt i basseng eller å nyte varmen i sauna på morgenen.
