Inside, this two-storey cottage has been lovingly renovated to blend original features with contemporary design and comfort. There’s ample space to store muddy boots and coats in the hallway, along with two living spaces, offering guests the ability to spread out or socialise together. Heart of the home is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area where warm, neutral tones, exposed brickwork and characterful beams create a sociable atmosphere. The kitchen is light and bright with sleek white cabinets and modern appliances, and there’s a breakfast bar to linger over morning coffee along with a dining table seating six. Unwind on the leather sofa next to the wood burner or head into the stylish second lounge, where there’s more seating along with a Smart TV. Keen walkers can head to the summit of Waun Fach (7.5 miles), the highest in the Black Mountains, while literary lovers will enjoy a day trip to Hay-on-Wye (19.5 miles).

- 2 bathrooms − 1 family bathroom with a shower over the bath with WC, 1 en-suite shower room with WC

- Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer

- Travel cot with sheets, changing mat and highchair available

- Wood burner (first basket of logs supplied)

- Smart TV, Bose bluetooth speaker

- Tresemme hair dryers in both master bedrooms

- Enclosed garden with stepped raised patio area, charcoal BBQ and dining furniture

- Please note that there is no balustrade around the raised patio area so care should be taken and children supervised

- On-street parking subject to availability
