"This is a beautiful little cabin in a nice setting. When we first arrived the hummers buzzed me each time I went to the car to for the load in. The screen porch was a great place for sitting and thinking or enjoying a beverage. Our two Russell terriers loved it as well.The kitchen is well appointed with nice appliances and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would have liked to try out the fireplace, but it was a little too warm. Speaking of which the AC worked great to keep the cabin comfortable.The one thing the cabin lacked is a fence around the yard for our dogs. We don't let them out unleashed so they weren't able to run. We knew that beforehand so were prepared to deal with it. Paul was easy to get hold of and we exchanged texts a few times. The one drawback is our GPS unit at times was completely confused on the secondary and tertiary roads, not uncommon in the NC mountains."

"This cabin provided exactly what we needed for quiet and a little reset. Clean, with a nice layout inside the home. Kitchen was well stocked and just right for the weekend stay. The deck and wrap around porch were hard to beat. We didn’t use the nature trail but did walk our dog down the gravel road and back up- great little mile workout. Firepit was convenient and firewood provided for our use. Should have taken a s’mores kit! We just had two of us but home easily sleeps 8 if you don’t mind a pull out sofa. We already decided we’ll definitely come back!"
