"We'd never booked a cottage in winter before, so we weren't sure if we'd be warm enough. However, the underfloor heating makes this a lovely, cosy place even on cold days.Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the selection of treats provided by the host was wonderful.The cottage is well situated, so we had lovely days out in Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Great Malvern.There is a nice garden center just down the road, although they don't allow dogs in the restaurant."

"We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. "

We visited Little Owls Farm Park on the Saturday - just 10 minutes away - which we would highly recommend for a day out if you're staying with children."

The owners were really friendly, and at hand if you needed them. A really great place to stay if you want peace and quiet, and to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. "Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again. "
