"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. "Spent a lovely week at Ashlea Country Cottage, Ann, the owner was so nice and helpful, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This is a lovely cosy cottage set in beautiful peaceful surroundings. We even got real thick snow which was an added bonus, great to watch surrounding wildlife and had visits from sheep. "Beautiful property in a secluded setting but not too far a drive from Hexham and Corebridge. Great walks too nearby if you have dogs. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a fab place in a wonderful location. We took our bikes and cycled down to the local pub and enjoyed the walks. I wasn't sure about the outdoor bath but gave it a go and it's actually a brilliant experience!! We will definitely return."
