"We stayed one night on our way south. The hotel’s location is central. The whole setting of the Abbaye was wonderful and very unique. Breakfast by candlelight was delicious and atmospheric! As was the wine and champagne we enjoyed in the bar on the evening of our arrival. We also enjoyed a dip in the pool which was certainly welcome after a 13 hour drive from the Uk. The staff were all welcoming but a special thanks to Tibot who was not only helpful and attentive but extremely charming and friendly. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful start to our holiday and an insight into the charms of Beaune. We will return! Rubax"

"A beautiful property, confortable and well designed rooms and over all a memorable experience just to stay for a few days. In my opinion it needs to look at their restaurant operation. We only had dinner at the Auberge and food was good although menus were too ambitious and complex. Service needs attention and possible additional staff. It was rather slow and possibly they were overwhelmed as there is also another gastronomic restaurant needing dedicated service. Garden at the rear of the Chateau looked a bit unkempt and needs better care and attention. In any case an excellent start for this new place to stay in this beautiful area that I can highly recommend and will return too!"

"Beautiful property but we booked for the spa and the spa was not available due to staffing issues. It was very disappointing. Management tried to make our stay better but not before multiple hours/months spent getting the run around."

"This chateau is in the middle of a complete restoration but that did not detract from the experience. The owner is warm and welcoming. The building is steeped in history including a large bedroom suite slept in be Josephine, wife of Napoleon. Minutes from Nuits St Georges it worked well as a base from which we cycled on the designated and safe vineyard bike tour 40km there and back to Beaune in one direction and same to Dijon in the other. Just stunning"

"A very nice hotel in a great and convenient spot on the wine route. We lived our spacious room. The staff was great, particularly Eva, who was so helpful. The spa is very nice, too. We will return."
