"The hotel had a great location, beautiful decor and a lovely pool area. Unfortunately our room (a superior with balcony) looked straight into nearby offices with no privacy and the balcony was unusable - partly due to the aspect, but also due to mosquitoes that were a constant feature. The bed was very comfortable but room cleaning did not take place until 6pm which caused problems given that we had put towels on the floor for cleaning after breakfast. The pool was a lovely temperature but unfortunately it was very noisy due to building work next door with lots of bangs and shouting. Breakfast was generally good although staff did not seem to replenish items (eg there was no yogurt one day or orange juice on another) and the egg station was only manned on one of our three mornings. Overall. The hotel was extremely disappointing given the price. If anyone plans to visit, I would ensure that you do not have rooms on the lower floors that are completely overlooked."

"We were unable to stay in the room and had to book another hotel. The room had a stale odor, a tiny bed and furniture in poor damaged condition. There is no front desk and no parking. After several days of no response the hotel offered no compensation and we had to pay for two hotels for the same nights. The location was good."

"Fabulous classical hotel, a beautiful building right in the centre of Aveiro, you can walk everywhere from there. Our room was very spacious and a lovely design, keeping its heritage. All the staff were exceptional, very professional. The breakfast has a small buffet and menu selections, all were very high quality and delicious, try the cappuccino it’s fab coffee! We didn’t use the pool as it was cool weather but looks pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel was right next to beach and many great restaurants. Nothing like being able to see a Portuguese sunset right from hotel. Room was bigger than I thought was a studio apartment with plenty of room. Stayed one night but was a great place to stay, also had balcony that we could see city from."

"The entire experience at the Yeatman can be summed up in one word- Impeccable! The staff, the food , the atmosphere and the accommodations. I have travel across the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This Yeatman ranks at the top of my list. The moment you walk in you are greeted with beautiful decor, excellent staff and a very welcoming feeling. The corridors and room designs were lovely and spacious. The views outstanding no matter where you were. Loved the displays of the hotel history and wines. Spa was excellent"
