He helped us check out and get a full refund for our three night stay after we realized how dirty and unsafe-feeling this hotel was. He was accommodating and understood our concerns, when we returned to the front desk to say we needed to leave. We mentioned it to the front desk twice, two different days, told them we couldn't sleep the room was too hot and we weren't moved to another room. Rooms and hallways were not very clean. We walked by a chicken wing on the lobby floor several times. The pool wasn't clear, looked dirty. "I think that the bed and breakfast is under new ownership. We showed up late, which was not an issue as we had the codes for front door and our room. The house has a musty odour when you enter. Our room was as advertised. The one bedroom light did not work as it was missing light bulbs. The curtain rod is bent. The bathroom light is missing two bulbs. "We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and had an overall pleasant experience. The breakfast staff were welcoming, attentive, and very helpful, and we enjoyed the quality of the food each morning.
However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping service during our stay. Our garbage was not collected, and the used towels were not replaced or removed, which affected our overall comfort and experience. Improving the consistency of housekeeping services would greatly enhance guest satisfaction."
