"Horrible experience. Check in started at 3 and I arrived at 8. I was told my room was not ready and wouldn’t be for a couple more hours due to staffing shortage. The manager only offered to cancel my reservation or call me when a room was ready. My disabled veteran husband started having mental issues so they got us a room quicker. Then our room had no towels. I saw a teenage housekeeper in hall who gave us towels and found out her mom was assistant manager who asked her to come in and help out....
"Under construction and dirty, which I was unaware of when I booked. The room smelled awful of mold and mildew. I took out the two air filters and cleaned them. They were packed with dust. I had some lysol spray in my car, which I brought in and thoroughly sprayed the HVAC unit and room to try and remove the smell. The cleaning and spray helped but didn't really improve it that much. Very dirty hotel, but not sure how much was due to the construction."
"The hotel itself was moderately nice and has been remodeled in the last couple years, but it definitely needs normal maintenance (like minor repairs). There were lots of signs to keep your doors double locked for safety (which, I suppose, I appreciate if it is that dangerous). There were tons of people living in the hotel and hanging out in the parking lot most of the night.
Ultimately, I appreciated that the room was clean and inexpensive. I definitely would not choose to stay there again,...
