Sandy Retreat is a 2-bedroom 2.5 bath Townhome with a loft, right in the heart of Port A and within walking distance to the beach. The resort-style pool is heated in the winter months, complete with a slide, Palapas for shade, and a BBQ area that is a perfect place to round out a day of fun. This home brings a calming feel inside with touches of island décor in shades of blue and green carried throughout. The bottom level of this Townhome holds the dining/kitchen/living area. The full-size kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a regular coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Enjoy your freshly prepared meals at the dining table accommodating six and additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. Relax in the living room on the couch (which converts to a Queen-size sleeper), matching armchairs, and recliner while watching movies on the wall-mounted TV. There is a half bath to serve this floor. Take your morning coffee or cold beverage out to the private back patio and grill up the day's catch for a quick and easy meal. Get a good night's rest in the bedrooms located upstairs. The first bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed with a bench at the foot, nightstands, a chest, a closet, and a wall-mounted TV. The ensuite bathroom provides a vanity and a large, tiled shower. The loft area is made up of a Full sofa sleeper and a wall-mounted TV, great for kids to stretch out and play. The second bedroom (BR2) consists of a King bed, nightstands, chair, chest, a wall-mounted TV, and a private front balcony with outdoor seating. The hallway includes a full-size stacked washer/dryer tucked in a closet and a bathroom with a tub/shower and detachable handheld showerhead. After a day at the beach or shopping, walk over to the shared pool for more fun on the slide, sitting under the Palapas, or taking in some sunshine. Sandy Retreat is an excellent place to stay for small families or with friends. You're 1 block from the sand and surf and central to all things Port Aransas, including delicious seafood, pristine golf courses, fishing piers, and music venues. Learn about the area's boating history at the museum, 4 blocks away. Then, order cold drinks and listen to live music at different venues around town.
