We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Appalachian. This pet-friendly property features large, fully-equipped cabins. We were warmly welcomed and had a good meal in the on-site restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay at a very clean spacious unit. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. We did not eat at the on site restaurant however was a wonderful option. We will definitely stay again should the ned arise.

The cottage accommodations were immaculate. The beds and furniture were comfortable with an adequate supply of kitchen utensils. We would stay again if we were travelling in the area and recommend the cottages to fellow travellers.

Loved everything about this stay!! Miscommunication and personal issues on my part was no issue with the manager. She trusted us outside the regular protocol from check in to check out. Very patient and understanding of my situation. The best part for us this time was the accesbility of this particular cabin as my mother has mobility issues and it was totally accessible. So appreciative of that. First impression is 100 percent awesome! Will recommdend to family and friends. Contemplating a family trip with my children and grandchildren. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Appalachian Chalet!

We stayed to do some nordic skiing at the Blow me Down Trails. It was a great location - about a 3 or 4 minute drive to the trails and only a 5 min drive to downtown. Chalets are well equipped, new, and very comfortable. We would stay again.

The Appalachian chalet was beautiful. It was modern, well-designed, cozy, plenty of space for our needs, and most of all the accessibility was such a relief for our son who was waiting to have surgery for a broken leg. The fact that he could get around easy and have a comfortable shower was definitely a plus. The kids want to go back again. They loved the fact that although it’s very close to the city, it seemed like we were in the middle of a forest. We will most definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
