Ski Vacation

They lied about the condo accommodations. They stated a working fireplace to cozy up to. Even had it working in the marketing photo. Instead it was plastic wrapped with a bulletin board stating is was not in service to save money from the draft you inherently have with firelaces. Please tell the truth in the advertisement.

Great Location but needs updating.

Great Location, good size place, great to have covered parking, love being able to ski in at the end of the day. Best ski lockers of any building in copper- (yes they are outside, but they are huge! - you can actually fit a few pairs of skis and snow boards in them! Condo is very dated with clearly only the bare minimum of modernization. Sure, it's a ski condo, but I expect more for the rates being charged. We have stayed in a number of condos in Copper over the years, some in this same building. This one had the least modern amenities vs the cost of any of them. Beds are crazy uncomfortable, Fireplace did not work (contacted Property management but got no response) Lower bathroom sink/ counter light sometimes works. Lower bathroom shower door is missing lower guide so door swings into shower and jumps off track. Building snow removal on outdoor corridors was sometimes very lacking. (all condos are exterior accessed in this building). Great cubbies to store all your ski stuff in, just inside front door, but more boot trays are needed to keep floors clean and dry.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came on a guys ski trip for a long weekend. Older unit but really enjoyed the setup of the place. Biggest complaint is the beds were all 3 pretty bad. I slept on the couch the last two nights and that was the best sleeping option of all.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all there was no mention about the 30 stairs you have to climb to get to the unit. Not fun in ski boots with kids. Over all the nit is dated and needs some updates. The slider door leaks cold air and the electric heat is difficult to get a good temp set (to cold or to hot)

Timber Creek 209 Copper Mountain

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our experience was fine. The building and unit are a bit rundown. We felt the description to be misleading. We expected a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment. There is one bedroom upstairs with connected bath. There is an open loft space outside the master bedroom with two old beds, no privacy. The second bath is downstairs.

Timber Creek 209

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Timber Creek is right on the mountain very close to Central Village. This condo is ski-in, ski-out which is the unit's biggest selling point. Overall the condo was comfortable, clean and worked well for a boys ski trip for three adults. The condo felt old and dated. The furniture is tired and worn and the bedding was OK but should be replaced given how expensive it is to rent the condo. The pictures and description of this condo are accurate. We decided to stay here since this unit offered the most features for our budget. We were not disappointed but wish we could afford more.

Unit 209 has pros and cons

First off, the property management company was professional and very courteous. There were things that we liked about the unit: The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were nice. The gas fireplace works great. The layout worked out well for our family of four. The smart TV with cable package was nice to have. Here are some things we did not enjoy: The couch pull out bed needs to be replaced. The ceiling fan and several picture frames need to be cleaned, they are loaded with dust. The loft railing is loose, which made us a little nervous with our boys sleeping there. The unit was hard to keep at a steady temp and got too cold overnight, even with thermostat set over 70 degrees. Had to get up multiple times overnight to start the gas fireplace. One of the evenings we stayed there the downstairs bathroom had a strong smell of marijuana. This was unfortunate. Great ski-in / walk-out location at the base and the unit has a cozy feel, we just wish it were cleaner and better maintained for the money we paid.

Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four of us stayed four nights for ski vacation recently. Was great to walk out the back door about 50-75 yards to a ski lift. We didn’t figure out that was the way until the second day. Information about that or a sign or notification in the cabin or app would’ve been nice. If there was one, we missed it. Beds were pretty comfortable although bouncy but seemed like pretty new mattresses. Condo was updated and very clean. Felt very comfortable and the gas fireplace was wonderful! Lockers for skis were very handy and held all 4 sets of skis and poles. No condiments or food of any sort is included FYI for your grocery planning. Did not try to hide a bed. We definitely stay there again. Did not venture out to find the hot tub either because I’m not a big hot tub person. We were pleased that there was plenty of fine quality linens and bedding and pillows.

Location very convenient to central village

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is very conveniently located at the foot of the mountain. The walk to the nearest lifts can be challenging with ski boots and skis. Enjoyed the hot tub! Walking distance to the central village with food and drinks choices. Inside, bathrooms are small and dated. Overall, it worked for our family of four. Like that it has a covered parking spot so did not have to clean the snow off the car. I would recommend improving the interior for the price charged for this condo.

Christmas Week Ski Trip

Property manager was communicative. Location is great. Condo was clean, in condition as advertised, and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking/serving dinner. Covered parking was really nice to have given it snowed a bunch during our stay, and the ski storage was helpful to have. Jacuzzi worked great too. We were a group of 3 (all separate beds) and had enough space. Only knock is that the beds weren’t very comfortable.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very spacious and well laid out. My boys loved that they had their own loft and didn't have to share a bed...big plus. The mattresses were very soft, but we were so tired it didn't make much difference. You will not be able to ski in to this property unless you are at least an intermediate skier, but the location is still wonderful. Note that you do need to be quiet in the living/kitchen area if the people in the loft are asleep. We had a great stay!

Not as expected

We were super excited to stay at this location. The pictures seemed like the place was in great shape and the location was perfect. Check-in was super fast and easy and we found everything super easily. After walking into the place you quickly realize that everything is a bit outdated run down. The transition on the floor from the living room into the kitchen was not tightly put into place. My foot got caught on it a few times, and it ended up slicing my foot open. It also happened to my friends. The smoke alarm in the bedroom on the 2nd floor started beeping because the battery needed to be replaced, but the alarm was too high to be reached without a latter. Called the office and they sent over a maintenance man who fixed the wrong smoke detector. So, the second he left it started beeping again. Issue is, the office is closed and we had to call the after hours line a few times to get our message through. A few other issues: Toilet seats - loose Shower head on 2nd floor - no pressure and spills down the sides Beds - absolutely terrible Patio door - no lock Fire place - did not work If you are looking to get any rest in between days of skiing, this is not the place for you. The beds must be over 15 years old. None of us were able to get any rest and were absolutely exhausted because the beds were just terrible. The pillows in the whole place are also extremely terrible. After all of these issues and 3 nights of no sleep. We tried to explain to the office that we wanted to checkout a day early due to the issues, but we weren’t able to. The unit was so bad that we decided to just leave a day early anyways and go to a hotel where we could actually get some rest. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
