Given its blend of above ground and below ground living, it is a very special place to visit. The opals are beautiful,and the staff present the story so well of how they are mined. We really liked the opportunity to go on the "down and dirty" tour.
Very interesting place with an interesting history. Glad we visited in the winter months as I imagine it is just brutal in the heat of summer.
