Eagle up in the tree at the Conowingo damn.Large numbers of gulls and Bald Eagles are typically present from mid-October through mid-March. The highest numbers of gulls are present from December through February. Some gulls and Bald Eagles are present in all seasons. Also present all year are large numbers of Great Blue Herons
Conowingo is a power company damn in Maryland USA has the largest concentration of Eagles East of the Mississippi River.In the winter months and when the damn is open and water flowing, Fish are abondant and stunned for a while making it easy for the Eagle to swoop down and catch thier food.
