This is a sweet alpine hotel set atop the hill of Sinaia. The rooms are large, and it is worth the extra to get a room with a balcony to sit outside beneath the pine forest; and some rooms have a view of the valley. Modern bathrooms and showers, coffee and kettle. Overall fairly quiet on a summer weeknight. Our apartment in building 2 was very nice and clean. We spent a nice time here feeling welcomed. Staff was very helpful and handy. We did not have access to pool and I didn't have time to ask for this during our short stay. Breakfast buffet style was awesome!!

Had a fantastic stay here! Phenomenal panoramic view of the town/valley and not too far from the castles if you don't mind a bit of walking. Good wifi & comfortable rooms as well.

Location, close to Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Carpathia. It was right on the main street of Sinaia and between a 5-10 minute walk to any of the restaurants in the town. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and our room was comfortable and quiet. We kept our windows open to cool the room. I love this hotel due the nice room and kind staffs. The room was average but the view was stunning. It was old-fashioned room but clean enough to stay. This hotel is close to Peleş Castle so it is easy to access the most important tourist spot. Highly recommend.
