"Huge room , very nice, corner bath was nice to use . Decor rather posh, Laura Ashley French shabby chic in nice soft neutral tones. Comfy big bed . Good selection teas coffees etc in room. Restaurant was above average, excellent quality food and wine. Service was particularly good. Recommend. Exceeded our expectations. Good value."

"The location was great - close for walking into town. The room was very comfy, the charm of an old building but the comfort of modern updates. I enjoyed the large room, the cozy duvets and big windows. We had a lovely nightcap at the bar where we had great service from Greg, the bartender, who was very charming."

No draft beer on sale Unable to order a sandwich in the evening as we hadn't ordered earlier. everything else was great. enjoyed the swimming pool. comfortable beds clean room. would stay again"
