"Perfect stay, beautiful gardens, very clean hotel, the staff work meticulously to keep it all looking at its best. The food was delicious throughout all restaurants, and excellent service from the staff in those restaurants, in particular Renolta in the lobster village bar, she remembers our drinks each time & gives excellent service. "Amazing: • food • room • facilities Not quite 5*: • location • service The hotel is huge and impressive, and the place is full of staff. But the service is variable. People really want to help you and some of the staff are super ‘on it’ and efficient. Others, not so much. When we arrived we were taken to the wrong room - a mistake with the number. Then the tv didn’t work. Coffee and tea machine means a kettle - no coffee machine. The hydrotherapy pool wasn’t working - when I asked, the staff member showed me I had to turn it on myself on the switch behind the plastic cover on the wall (where you’d assume public shouldn’t be flicking switches). We asked about an ATM on site and two staff members told us where to go, but there was none, which front of house staff confirmed when we asked. When a payment didn’t go through at the pool bar, later in the day a member of staff messaged me from their personal number on my WhatsApp. I had to tell them multiple times it wasn’t a good time to come to collect payment - and was it really professional to be messaging me from their personal WhatsApp? I had another message during the stay from another staff member also on their personal WhatsApp, and it just seemed a bit odd and not 5*. Also, what about GDPR? On the other hand, came across amazing staff too. The spa treatments were great, and the food! Note: the property is adjacent to the ocean, but there isn’t really beach access, there is a wall."

"Great location for a small break. Located near shops and restaurants. Breakfast was comprehensive (despite recent LPG shortages). Staff were very courteous and greeted us every time we passed them. Premises were kept clean. Amenities were provided and replenished regularly or on demand. String Wi-Fi signal. Have no hesitation in recommending this for family or business trips."

"Staff and front desk were very hospitable. Shomit and Sruti provided us with great tourist spots to visit. The restaurant staff and Amel checked in on your needs and provided great service and care. The picnic by the pool was a lovely treat and a great way to enjoy the weather and pool amenities. Benalium beach is a 100m walk with various food options. "

"The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride. The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small. The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls for service there is no one at the other end to answer or concern. One has to take the trek to the lobby, only to get an apology. We arranged a ride into Pajim to get there at a specific time time; however, the ride didn't show up on time, and finally did after much complaining. Again all we received was an apology. The much-touted Caravela was a disappointment. Old and very dark, and the service rather slow. Food was okay, but not befitting the Taj standards. The sister resort next to the HV has better restaurants, and one in particular - Paper Moon ( Italian Specialty) had the best service offered. What we didn't appreciate was that kids were allowed into a fine dining restaurant. One already gas to cope with kids in the pool and public spaces. Fine dining restaurants should a reprieve for guests to enjoy meals and drinks in a quite and serene space, following an hectic and chaotic day out and about. So for couples and those travelling in an adult group be cautious booking."
