Imagine sipping a cup of coffee watching the sunrise over the city of Colorado Springs while sitting on your own private rooftop deck. After your day of sight seeing you can end your day by drinking a glass of wine watching the sunset over Garden of the Gods on the deck. Once nightfall has come you can then count the stars while enjoying the deck and fire pit. All of nature's bounty is just steps away from our home away from home. Endless hiking & biking trails are literally at your doorstep in our home. Within minutes you can be at all the wonderful attractions the Pikes Peak region has to offer. The quaint charm of Old Colorado City is within minutes with its unique shopping and wonderful dining.

Counting Stars Adobe has a beautiful rooftop deck with gas fire pit overlooking the city of Colorado Springs, Red Rocks Canyon Open Space and the stunning Garden of the Gods. The home has a large master suite with a new plush king size bed and walk-in closet on the main level with an en suite bathroom. There are 2 additional bedrooms in the lower level. One bedroom has a new queen mattress, dresser and closet. The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle bed for two twin beds. The third bedroom also has a dresser and large closet. The second full bathroom is in the lower level.

After a pleasant day of exploring the area you can come home to our lovely home and relax in front of the TV and electric fireplace. The living area with couch and loveseat has a smart TV and high speed wireless internet. You will be able to access your own streaming apps. The main floor living room also has a cozy reading nook area. The adobe has a well equipped kitchen and laundry area all conveniently located on the main floor. The eating area is just off the kitchen. The home is tastefully furnished with well appointed furniture, high quality linens in southwest style. The kitchen is fully stocked with a lot of supplies. In addition, the pantry has basic supplies provided.

Paradise awaits just outside the front door for bikers, hikers, nature lovers and photographers. Counting Stars Adobe is just one mile from Bear Creek Nature Park Center. Just across the street is the Red Rocks Canyon Open Space with abundant trails to explore. It is a dream location for your biking or hiking vacation. The home also has a 2 car garage so you can safely store your valuable outdoor "toys" while enjoy a night out in the unique flavor of Old Colorado City a short 1/2 mile from your vacation headquarters. In addition Manitou Springs is a short 10 minute drive where you can explore the wonderful shops and dining establishments of this unique mountain town.

Want your vacation to be more relaxing? Just hang out on the rooftop deck and count the stars while you enjoy our lovely Colorado cool evening mountain air. Beautiful scenic drives are just minutes away if you care to explore the Broadmoor area, wonderful Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls and of course Americas mountain Pikes Peak. Downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City are just minutes away offering wonderful dining and shopping.

Truly felt like home away from home. Had every amenity we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking/dining in, the location was convenient for dining out in Old Colorado City. This was an amazing property, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Colorado Springs.The beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was stocked full of amenities (both in the kitchen and in the bedrooms in case you forgot to bring something with you). We spent time each night up on the rooftop patio, just sitting and watching wildlife and enjoying the beauty of the mountains. We didn't get to use the fire pit because we went in the heat of July, but that would be perfect for a chilly night!! Counting Stars is, by far, the most comfortable stay we've had at a VRBO.

I can’t say enough about this property. Absolutely beautiful and not a detail forgotten. You could literally bring your clothes and nothing else as Debbie thought of everything from toiletries to kitchen items. Just like being at home. Location was perfect as well. One of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had. The host was amazing and the care they put into the property and the renters experience is obvious. They provided great local recommendations, info on nearby activities, and even baked us a welcome treat. The location was perfect for us as it was just minutes away from the things we wanted to do and see like Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Cave of the Winds. And at the end of each day, we would relax on the rooftop deck and watch the wildlife across the road. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Stay

We absolutely loved this rental property! We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was probably our favorite. Debbie was great with communication about finding the property and the best way to unload, as well as recommendations for the area. She surprised us with a delicious treat upon arrival. And, she has the place stocked with everything you could possibly need. It makes it feel like home! All the linens and paper products are high quality, too. It makes a difference! The beds were so comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. The neighborhood was quiet, and the rooftop patio has a great view. The location is perfect for being close to everything in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We loved this visit and were sad to leave so soon. Thanks for giving us a great start to our trip!

Debbie (the host) is wonderful, the adobe had a perfect location for all that we wanted to do, and it was super clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the rooftop balcony with our coffee in the mornings. I recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in Colorado Springs.

INCREDIBLE! This home is spotless and located perfectly for adventure. Beautiful mountain trails are so close that we were able to do several quick hikes daily. Spacious relaxing livingroom with windows to the mountains and daily deer seem on hillside across the street. Also, a chest packed full of games. Super plush towels with baskets of essential toiletries offered for the taking. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed to make usually three meals daily. Very quiet at night, except for a few welcomed wildlife moments. Beds totally comfortable. Spotless garage. College kids stayed in lower level and master was on first level. Provided a private area for all with full bathroom on both levels. The next two mentioned items are important. The rooftop deck is worth every moment of enjoyment. Excellent addition to a wonderful home. Lastly, we got to meet the super precious owners who truly enjoy making your experience top notch. I’d look no where else upon our next visit to Colorado Springs. P.S. The road you might see in front of home was quiet and we enjoyed seeing all the bikers coasting down or pushing there way up as they passed by. LOVED THIS STAY

Perfect long weekend

Perfect location and Hostess

This property was amazing - the hostess thought of ever imaginable detail and our almost 3 week stay could not have been more magical. The location is perfect for hiking and sites to visit. This was a great stay for my adult children and myself to “shelter in place” over the Christmas holiday.

Cozy place in a great location!

Our family enjoyed our spring break at Counting stars, home was impeccable, cozy furniture and we had a great time in the area. Being close to main attractions is a plus and with access to nearby stores and restaurants. Our guest made check in and out very convenient and was accesible.

My husband and I were in Colorado Springs last week and spent 4 nights at Counting Stars Adobe. This home is absolutely perfect. it was clean, had everything that you would need and is in the perfect location. Debbie texted to make sure we had everything we needed, which I appreciated.
