"Paradise Found in Colonial Beach with a spectacular view and incredible host!If you're looking for a place to go and unplug that is peaceful, clean, comfortable, privately situated, beautifully appointed and with many ways to relax and re-energize, this is the property you're looking for! We arrived by boat and the dock suited us perfectly.We brought our bikes and explored the area and then swam in the well maintained pool afterward. We rented a golf cart to get to the grocery store, church and restaurants. All were very close by. We also shot some hoops, took the kayaks out to explore, and took walks at night after dinner. I was able to get through a novel for the first time in many moons while chilling at the pool and it was awesome!The property is very well maintained inside and out. It shows like a model home, yet is also very comfortable. The kitchen has every appliance and tool you need, and we cooked in most nights making use of the grill as well. The views are amazing from every room facing the water and the property is very private, so you feel as if you're at your own private resort!Shannon is incredibly responsive and is by far the best host we have dealt with, and we have had quite a few that went above and beyond. She checks all the boxes and then some. She went out of her way on so many levels with a very positive and professional demeanor. We hope to visit this lovely property again and again for as long as she continues to kindly share it."
