"Stella, Antonio, and Giovanna all made for a great stay at Countryhouse Federico -- they were all very warm, welcoming, and helpful in answering questions about the town and its surroundings. I stayed in the downstairs suite, which including a large bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen with gas stove and refridgerator. "We stayed ‘out of season’. Possibly one of only 3 or 4 rooms occupied at the time. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I can imagine an amazing place to be in busier times and in better weather. The drive to the property was a little difficult with very poor road access. "

"At the arrival time (4:40pm) the heating was not working. My room was cold and the bathroom had no hot water. The staff came and after three and half hours, it has started working. I was moved into another room with hot water, but the heating was off. Still, the room was not warm till 8:15pm. The staff was supportive, but they should have checked the heating before my arrival. The location is great and the breakfast is offered at a small pastry (200m from the property)."

"Huge room, great service. Would 100% stay again. Though I was super annoyed that there was no in-room coffee or even a kettle! "

"We didn’t ask if they were dog friendly before we booked and they totally weren’t, and had no flexibility around it so our poor big boy had to spend the night in the car by himself. Staff could’ve been a little friendlier, and to make matters worse, the restaurant was closed. The breakfast buffet was pretty good though with homemade omelettes. "
