"It was our first time in the area and we chose the hotel based only on the map and photos we found online. The hotel has a beautiful and quiet location in the mountains, away from any traffic. We slept with all windows wide open and woke up to the sound of a running river and singing birds. This was topped off by a wonderful German/Austrian breakfast buffet. You can walk to the cable car and spend your day on the mountain top. We definitely recommend this hotel."

Staff is outstanding -- my dinner waitress [Isamel] speaks 5 languages fluently, has a Masters degree in international business, and is very easy on the eyes. Hotel offers a collection of reading glasses for reading the menu [in case you forgot yours] -- this was something I've never encountered before in my travels. "A gorgeous mountain retreat! We stayed 9 nights and had dinner 8 of the nights. Clean hotel… incredible staff from the front desk to the dining crew. I will point out one person who stood out… Ervis! A great example of perfect hospitality. He is knowledgeable on wine of the region and just a genuine nice human. Dinner was right at Michelin * quality. The view of the mountain is spectacular. Our room was simple but comfortable. We hope to be back with family. "
