Great to have free parking and the room was nice. Traveled in winter so did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The rooms were a bit noisy, but other than that great.

The bed was fantastic. Honestly one of the best we slept in during our 5 weeks travelling the east coast. I was surprised to see the office was closed when we arrived (20 minutes before they were scheduled too and on a Saturday). I never saw it nor the bistro open for the two nights we were there. But that’s the only real “complaint” I have about the motel. The room was clean, the bathroom looked great and, as I said, the bed was wonderfully comfy. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Very disappointing stay – one of the worst places I've ever stayed Unfortunately, our experience at the Zebra Motel, was extremely disappointing. As soon as we entered the room, there was a really unpleasant, almost disgusting smell that lingered throughout the night. It was so off-putting that it made it difficult to feel comfortable, and I had serious doubts about the cleanliness of the room. The motel itself felt very dated, shabby and in need of a proper refresh. I honestly wanted to leave almost as soon as we arrived, but as we'd already paid and it was late, we didn't really have much choice but to stay the night. I do want to say that the person in charge was genuinely lovely, kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the property itself let him down badly. It was nothing personal against him, as he was pleasant to deal with, but the condition of the accommodation really needs addressing. I can honestly say that the happiest moment of our stay was when we finally checked out and left. It's probably one of the worst places I've ever stayed in, and I certainly wouldn't choose to return or recommend it to others in its current condition. A very unpleasant experience overall, which was a real shame given how nice and helpful the person looking after us was.
