"I visit cousins in Old Saybrook annually and Blue Pier Inn is my go to spot. It’s nothing fancy but it’s a good value and good location and I always get a good nights rest. It could use a little sprucing up but I hear the owners are doing some renovations."

"I personally think that this hotel was very good for the price. Although I personally thought that the WiFi was not good, took me several tries to upload some pictures I needed to upload and even worked better in some parts of the room than others. Also wish the WiFi was secure. Plus the hotel is a bit far from Downtown New Haven. Other than that, pretty much everything else was good and I would stay again. I also felt safe overall."

"Recently remodeled room. Very nice and clean. Greate location. You are staying in your own small cottage, only issue is that in the unit we stayed in is when the sun sets and hits the single pane windows, the place gets VERY HOT in the summer. AC had a hard time keeping the unit cold."
