"The house was emblematic of the town of Madrid. Charming, artful, and gypsy fun with a great kitchen. The queen bed I slept in was very comfortable. Plenty of deck space and a easy place to hang out. There are two restaurants in a coffee shop just down five minutes down the road, and a great little country store right across the street. You are on the main road, the Turquoise Highway, but in the evening was quite nice. The host, John who is the owner, was very responsive."

"This place was absolutely lovely. A beautiful home. One in our party uses a walker and it is truly all one level. From front entrance, throughout the home and out the back it is easy to transverse. Furniture is very comfortable. I was a little worried about plane noise as it’s very close to the Santa Fe airport but I only heard 1 plane. I would highly recommend staying here. I would rent again if/when I’m in the area. Thanks Crista for a wonderful place to stay!"

"This is out from town amongst quiet farm houses, but only 1 mile to stores. Beautiful place to let kids play or if you have a dog. We loved hearing the rooster in the morning. Nice place to relax."

"Lovely place, spacious is an understatement as the home has something for everyone and somewhere for everyone to be together, or to find their own space to enjoy alone. Kitchen well stocked so you can prepare your own meals very easily. Pool was an absolute lifesaver in the late August heat."
