"There are some little things that could be improved but I’ve stayed here twice now and I still think it’s the best value in Seattle. The location and price are hard to beat and the rooms are private with shared bathrooms in the hallway. My suggestions would be: - Add some shelves in the bathrooms where guests can put their clothes and toiletries while they shower. The floors get pretty wet and it’s hard to keep things off the floor. - The mattresses sag a bit and could use some updating, you can feel the springs. They’re OK for comfort but not great. - Make it more clear that you need to use the room door code to both lock and unlock the door every time you enter and exit the room. It briefly mentions it in the text you receive but maybe a sign on the inside of the door to remind guests how it works. These doors don’t automatically lock like you’d expect at most hotels. Overall though I’ve been pretty happy both times I’ve stayed here and I would stay again in the future. I recommend it if you don’t mind sharing the bathroom in the hallway (they are still individual bathrooms). It’s somewhat between a hostel and a hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at the StayPineapple Watertown. Staff was very helpful, we had 2 rooms, my daughter and her friend were able to check in early. A couple of quirks. The bedding was "different." rather than a top sheet, comforter and bedspread, it was an all-in-one combination. And, for our king bed, there was separate combination comforters for each of us, rather than a king size comforter. I guess this is European style Also, the coffee machine was different. Sort of designed to make it's own "pour-over" coffee. We weren't familiar with how it worked. Once we got it figured out it did make a decent cup of coffee, just a whole different process from what we're used to with Keurig cups or pods. Very convenient to light rail and the University of Washington. Many nice restaurants close by. We used the light rail to get around the city, including to the airport with our luggage. $3.00 per trip. Would stay again."
