Just 10 minutes from the Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia.

Whether you're visiting the North Georgia mountains for a wedding, winery tours, one of our many festivals like Oktoberfest, admiring the fall leaves, a college graduation, a family vacation, or in hopes of striking it rich while panning for gold, we're certain that our home will be a place of rest and relaxation during your stay.

Visit the Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia nestled in the Appalachian mountains of North Georgia. This area was once home to the mighty Cherokee. When settled by Europeans in the 1800's it became the site of the first U.S. gold rush. Then later became the quaint little German town it is today.

Come during late September through the end of October to not only enjoy the changing leaves, but also experience the Oktoberfest celebrations!

Our home is also an excellent place of respite for the adventurer! There are countless hiking trails, excellent roads for mountain biking, exceptional trout fishing waters, and more waterfalls than you can see on one trip.

Fun for the whole family too, with a waterpark, zip line adventures, horseback riding, river tubing, mini-golf, gold & gem mining, award-winning vineyards, a local brewery, unique shops, amish bakeries, antiquing, great local & German cuisine, and much more!

Our mountain chalet was built in 2005. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living spaces, and a kitchen and dining area. There's more than 1000 sq. ft. of wrap around porches to take in the majestic mountain views. When you're ready to relax after a long day of exploring all the area has to offer, slip into the hot tub with a glass of wine or make s'mores in the camp fire out back.

There is a smart doorbell installed by the front door with audio and video recording capabilities for security purposes.

Mountain retreat close to Helen

Wonderful stay! We were only a quick drive from downtown Helen yet it felt like we were nestled far away. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was made extra charming and cozy by the Christmas tree.

Daughter's 21st Birthday

We had a great stay at Ritz on the Rocks. Our family and friends celebrated our daughter's birthday. This property had beautiful views and we were all very comfortable and relaxing. The location was great allowing us to easily get to wineries as well as multiple hiking locations. Thank you for sharing this great place and helping us create lasting memories!

Wonderful

Our stay at The Ritz’s was wonderful. It was my birthday so we rented this beautiful house and enjoyed every minute there. We went to Helen Georgia twice and enjoyed it. Mitch was wonderful he was waiting on us when we checked in. The house is great for a family gathering.

Great for large family! Very comfortable, well stocked!

We spent Thanksgiving there with 11 people. Helen was fun to visit. The cabin had beautiful views of the mountains that we enjoyed every sunrise and sunset! It had everything we needed and host was very communicative.

Christmas Vacation

cabin very clean and well stocked with household supplies. Very comfortable seating in all rooms and the mountain view is amazing. We loved the fact that the cabin is not too isolated from other vacation homes. We loved our stay and plan to return.

Pretty much just a great place all around, especially for a pet friendly place. Our dog never gets to come on these family trips with us and loved getting to explore around the cabin. Great location close to wineries, breweries, safari park, Helen, and Dahlonega. Very comfortable house with amazing views!

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for my family to have a long weekend and unwind. The view is beautiful! It was very private and felt remote but was only a short distance to Helen. We even got to see a bear on our last day there! Perfect ending to a perfect vacation.

Wonderful experience

The place is beautiful and well kept. The views were amazing - beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Plenty of amenities - hot tub, games, WiFi, etc. location is great - easy to Cleveland for groceries, easy to Helen and other points of interest. If we come back to this area, then I can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else!

A perfect mountain getaway!

The cabin's location was perfect, just a short drive from Helen and Dahlonega, and the easy access via a paved lane made it a breeze to get to, even without 4WD. The three-level layout of the cabin was ideal for our family, providing ample space for everyone. The views from the cabin were simply breathtaking, and we could have easily spent our entire trip admiring the scenery without ever leaving. I would highly recommend!!

We had an amazing time. It’s perfect distance and central to many locations; minutes from Helen, trails, tubing, the sliding rock and many more. The house was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The family and kids loved the fire pit, hot tub, and greatly appreciated the s’mores gift left by our wonderful hosts. The hosts were very attentive, caring, and easy to communicate with. 5 ⭐️s all around!!

Beautiful Mountain Vacation

We stayed for 5 nights/6 days and from the time we arrived, we immediately felt relaxed. Beautiful scenery & perfect accommodations for our family (ages 25-55). Even with the rain, we could sit on the covered back porch and just enjoy the hot tub, gorgeous mountain view and each other’s company. The fire pit and the outside games were a fun experience as well for us. The drive into Helen, for tubing and restaurants/shopping, or hiking to the Falls was so easy and beautiful. Our family definitely plans to re-book again in the future.

Family Weekend Getaway

Ritz on the Rocks is a beautiful property. The views are spectacular. Everything you need is here. Plenty of room for our party of 6. We had packed several kitchen items, but we shouldn’t have. They had everything you would need, including a propane grill. It was a home away from home. Helen was only a short ride away and Cleveland too. I would absolutely recommend this property for your next getaway.

Amazing!

Our family stayed at this property to visit the waterfalls of the area. The house was clean and very well cared for. I loved that the amazing view from the porch was a sunset view rather than a sunrise view. Mitch was incredible! The dishwasher went out during our stay and Mitch had it swapped out the same day.

Weekend before Christmas

It’s hard to believe but the view is even better than the photos! 180 degree views all across the wrap around deck. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. The property is well equipped and even had firewood and s’more’s ready and waiting! Only 10 minutes from Helen and 30 minutes from Dahlonega. Truly a lovely cabin with breathtaking Mountain View’s.

Christmas at Ritz on the Rocks

Our large group (10) had a wonderful Christmas at Ritz on the Rocks. There was plenty of room for everyone and because it rained our whole stay, we hunkered down inside and had a great time playing games, enjoying the hot tub, eating and drinking. We were able to squeeze in a short fire pit visit (and made s'mores) before the rain started our first night at the house, would have used more except for the downpours! Finally saw the beautiful view the morning we were leaving, might have to return to take full advantage of this great spot! Thanks for your hospitality!

Absolute Perfection!

The magic is in the details and this property has a ton of magic! The location is great, we come to the area multiple times a year and never stay on this side of the mountain and was really happy to be so close to great hikes, wineries and downtown Helen. The property is gorgeous and the views were so stunning it did not look real. The owners are great and really paid attention to the details. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and baskets with extra blankets. The welcome binder has all the information you could ever need so there are no questions on where to go and what to do and plenty of space for a big group. Five stars all the way!

Rejuvenating

We stayed at the property with my 2 adult boys, my mom who is a senior and our dog Dash. We had a wonderful stay. I just loved the views from the decks - it was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was very spacious for the 5 of us . The views from everywhere were amazing. Property was very clean. Mitch was very responsive and kept in touch. My mom was able to use the bedroom on the main floor with the bathroom, not being able to do the staircase. House was well stocked. We had a great time and it wasnt far from Helen so that was great too. Highly recommend.
