"So Expensive for a hotel where no meals or drinks included. No microwave in the rooms. $400 a night!
Room and service were excellent.
Brand new place."

"This is a very nice property with great beach vibe. Room was comfortable and very clean. This is a fantastic spot to set up shop to enjoy what St. Pete has to offer. Beautiful beaches and plenty of food choices. "

"This hotel is under construction. The workers have done a pretty good job to keep it closed off and quiet. The entrances are old and left ajar (a question of security).
The renovated rooms are new and nice, but spartan. No tables and chairs. The TV is big but no sports channels (but many other channels through Roku).
The bathroom sink is shallow and hard to use. I used the sink to shave but the stopper got stuck and wouldn't open up. The window shade is completely dark, so either you can see out or not at all.
Our room wasn't cleaned fully any of the days. Towels were replaced but the bed wasn't made and the floor wasn't cleaned.
The highlight was the staff, they were warm and friendly and always ready to assist us with pool towels or fixing the sink stopper. A maintenance guy got it to work although he mentioned the stoppers are a problem in all of the rooms.
The area around the hotel was industrial and commercial so not very 'Florida' beautiful. There were individuals hanging out at night on the grounds, but no incidents. The price, however, was right. We couldn't have found a better rate anywhere ($65 USD through Expedia)."
SureStay Hotel by Best Western St. Pete Clearwater Airport
8/10 Good
"I had 2 rooms one for me and one for my son and daughter-in-law. The staff was nice. Our room was ok but the shower was angled in the wrong direction so when you took a shower the bathroom flooded. My sons room on the other hand had bugs in it. I get it Florida, ground floor, some may be expected, but when my daughter-in-law woke up and picked up her clothes dead roaches? dropped out onto the floor. We didn't tell the front desk at checkout. We just left."
Extended Stay America Suites Clearwater Carillon Park
2/10 Terrible
"I booked this room through Expedia because the pictures made the place look clean and inviting, but the reality was the complete opposite. The room and the surrounding areas were not properly cleaned and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke.
The sink was extremely dirty, and the handwasher was clogged. There was no curtain in the shower, which made using it very inconvenient and messy. Overall, the level of maintenance and cleanliness was far below acceptable standards.
I do not recommend this property at all."
