"We had a great trip. The host was so communicative and gave such great recommendations for local attractions. The 5 bedrooms and layout worked so well for our family. Our kids loved the bunk room and game room. The little swingset was such as added bonus and our kids really enjoyed playing on it. The kitchen is so well stocked for all types of cooking. We loved that they had an air fryer"

"This is a really great spot for those that enjoy something akin to a glamping experience. This is just so much nicer than a cabin - redone bathrooms, a full kitchen, ice cold AC. The site itself is one of those hidden gems you kind of just have to see. It’s a relic covered bridge that I’ve never seen up close. The building itself is an old gristmill with the upper floor converted into the accommodation- the water wheel even turns. I was able to meet the groundskeeper from Cullman county and he told me a good bit of history about the site, really nice guy.The area is super nice, great slice of ruralAlabama. We explored over towards the Addison and Bankhead National Forest which is also a hidden gem with some of the most spectacular views and waterfalls I’ve seen in the South. Love the culture around here and everyone is super friendly. You really feel the southern hospitality.Great spot, can’t recommend it enough."
