"From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north."

"The bedroom and en-suite were very clean and welcoming.
The staff from checking in to checking out were warm, polite and professional.
The breakfasts and evening meals were exceptional and value for money.
No complaints whatsoever and would definitely stay again next time we are in Skipton."

"Great room, excellent bed & bedding. Bathroom well equipped with plenty of hot water. Parking was included & close by. Staff very welcoming & accommodating. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Our steaks were cooked to perfection & the whole meal delicious.
Only thing to let the hotel down was breakfast. Breakfast buffet was dry; the bacon was hard & fried eggs rubbery. The pot of tea was awful, which was a surprise at tea bags in bedroom were delicious. It was bad tea & doesn’t seem to have been made with boiling water.
We would gladly return despite the tea ! "
"We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves
We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes.
We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient.
Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable (Simran) … she was consistently super happy and helpful each day.
Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed all the places of much interest close by. Don’t miss Skipton Castle, Grassington, Haworth amongst just a few places. We didn’t get to experience the new restaurant but hope to visit again in the future. "
"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "
"I booked this Hotel, Primary for the Spa and Gym, On arrival was told that its all closed due to the refurb, apparently Nobody was Told , even the staff."
"Our stay was fabulous. Its an amazing place with amazing staff and food. Beds and rooms we're immaculate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star was the dogs barking late at night. Don't know of they were inside or out or both but it was on going for quite a while.
Will be back though "
