"Lovely friendly staff, and nice hotel in good order. Unfortunately the walls to our room were paper thin, the guest next door put the tv or radio on at 2.00 am, so loud it may have well been on in my room! Luckily a bang on the wall had the desired effect. "

"We have travelled across Spain and Portugal and this hotel and the town is an absolute gem. Fabulous recently renovated room with superb bed, crisp fresh linen and the best pillows. Superb shower and double basins. Kettle and coffee maker which was an unexpected bonus. Beautiful hotel and lovely garden terrace by the river for drinks outside. Highly recommended!!!"
"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing.
What really put me off, though, was the general atmosphere. Some of the other guests seemed… off. A few were lingering in the hallways at...
