"The hotel is nice but it is over a kilometer from the beach."

"Breakfast was good. Most of the staff were very accommodating, especially with children. The grounds are beautiful, pool could be cleaner. Not very much shade, no umbrellas at the pool. Unfortunately, the beach was not great, very rocky and bad weather caused big waves… The room is comfortable, however ants were a guest most of time. Shuttle to Tropea was quite expensive. Overall, nice stay."

But unfortunately the room was disappointing-- air conditioner was not cool, no kettle or tea/coffee, no cups, no waste paper basket. Our room was clean and the view was beautiful of the sea, though further away than we thought. A few cons. There is no beach access here at all.Some of the descriptions are misleading. "Staff was great. Friendly, helpful and responsive. Breakfast was very good. Bed was very comfortable. Good location-minutes from town centre and Spiagga di Riaci a short walk from the hotel. Twenty minutes walk to Tropea and street is well lit for walking at night."
