Riveredge Resort

"Riveredge is a dated hotel. The carpet in the hallway was awful! It definitely needs to be replaced. Our room was clean and comfortable. The balcony really needed to be cleaned up. Chairs were dirty and full of cobwebs! But we did enjoy our stay there! We were there for two nights and our beds were not straightened over night and the towels were not replaced."

"We had a great time in the cabin at Alex Bay. It was spacious, clean and really convenient to everything in the area. Bob was a friendly, fabulous host who responded immediately when we had questions and communicated clearly. We would love to return in the future and would absolutely book there again."

"Very nice location, very confusing as GPS left us up on the road, with no further instructions to follow stone and dirt road around pole barn which lead to paved driveway rest of way. Noticed baby grand was gone and after touring home found pool table unusable. Pool tips broken, 8 ball gone and triangle broke. Pictures misleading. Took vaca for views of barges on waterway, boating and fishing, for which there was plenty, but would have enjoyed some drinks and rounds of pool at end of day. Really in need of good cleaning. Cleaning service must have been light duty as dressers, ceiling fans, etc.. needed dusting. Beds very comfortable, living room furniture tired and couches could use new cushions. Richard, owner, stopped by a few times with vegetables from the garden, very nice man. Overall, there was 12 of us and had a good week on Alex Bay."

"The place was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean and useable. The kitchenette had everything you would need. I picked it for the river and it looked great. You can sit out and watch the water in the evening. Relaxing."

"This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay on Wellesley Island, NY. Tanya is a wonderful host - very responsive. We stayed 2 nights (Husband, wife & 18 y/o son). We really enjoyed the snack basket the host left for us - a very nice and thoughtful touch! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We actually used the outside grill on the amazing outdoor deck to cook burgers one night. Although we don't drink coffee or tea, there is a very well-stocked area for guests to enjoy. We liked the ability to do a load of laundry the first night too. It is very tastefully decorated, warm and cozy. Everything was very neat and clean. Beds and pillows are super comfy. I forgot q-tips and makeup remover which the host had those and other items readily available for guests to use. We enjoyed several games of cornhole one night. There are lots of amenities there to make this house very family friendly. Unfortunately, we were not there long enough to spend much time outside so we didn't get to sit around the firepit or enjoy sitting out on the deck. Everything about this house is very well thought out for guests. If we ever return to this area, we would definitely stay here again!"
