Refugio Campestre, Cabin with a Tinaja (Bathtub)

IMPORTANT: The water jar service is OPTIONAL and incurs an ADDITIONAL charge. Please also let us know in advance if you plan to use it, as it takes at least 5 to 8 hours to fire up the boiler and heat the water (depending on weather conditions).

Experience the countryside up close in this rural cabin, perfect for unwinding. It offers an intimate countryside experience with the following features:

The Space
I. CAPACITY: Cozy cabin for 3 people (two beds: one double and one single). A fourth person can be accommodated (maximum, for an additional fee).
TV with streaming service via Roku.

II. AMENITIES: Sheets, towels, hair dryer, soap, and toilet paper. Free Wi-Fi.

III. KITCHEN: Two-burner electric stove, mini-fridge, small electric oven, and basic kitchen utensils. There is no microwave or toaster.

IV. HEATING: Air conditioning (cooling/heating) and an optional paraffin heater (guests must provide their own fuel).
During warm months, keep the cabin closed with the AC set to cool during the hottest hours of the day.

V. OUTDOORS: Barbecue grill and outdoor furniture.
Hot tub service is available. THE HOT TUB SERVICE INCURS AN ADDITIONAL FEE (20,000 Chilean pesos per day).

VI. LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS: Rural area with open countryside and a nearby reservoir. It is important to bring mosquito repellent (close doors and windows at night to keep out insects) and to be aware that there may be outdoor humidity and fog during the colder months (the clay pot area is not yet covered).

VII. BOUNDARIES: Rural boundaries and a hedge; pets may wander onto other properties, so supervision is recommended.

Guest Access
The property is located on land shared with another house that is generally unoccupied (it was already there when the property was purchased), but the cabin offers complete privacy; there is no line of sight between the two properties.
Access is shared with this existing house solely for the purpose of entering or exiting the property.

Other Important Details
Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Late check-ins are permitted until 8:00 p.m. (always negotiable). The tinaja works best if guests arrive early. Please respect the schedule for logistical reasons.
