We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!

The room was excellent! The staff were wonderful—charming and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning both to Rapalla and this hotel.

Amazing property smartly outfitted with an attention to detail that is rare! Staff is lovely and inviting. Felt as if I were visiting a wealthy eccentric friends villa in Italy!! Will be back for sure.

Beautiful view and relaxing.

By far the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The attention to detail is mesmerizing. The staff all know your name, your dining on the finest china, with the best silver, the products are Acqua di Parma, the breakfast is incredible. Simply flawless

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room with about 10 tables, floor to ceiling windows looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was excellent quality. If...

Amazing staff! In a beautiful historic building! Great amenities, nice area and wonderful breakfast! Would highly recommend!

The property was lovely but the staff was another level. Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant, the spa, and the door staff were all welcoming and accommodating. Simone and Jessica made our entire stay completely hassle free. The restaurant had great menu and the food was excellent. Highly recommend, I can’t wait to be back.

This is a unique experience. Off the beaten path. Not a usual tourist place. Great place to catch up with yourself after being in the bigger cities

Wonderful hotel! My husband and I stayed at So & Leo's for two nights. The room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Adjoining bathroom had an excellent shower, plenty of towels and supplies. Coffee and biscuits available in the common area. Our hostess, Siminoa (So) was so gracious, friendly and fun. She allowed us to check-in early and to store our bags on the afternoon of our last day. The guest house is centrally located across from the old harbor, with easy access to restaurants, outdoor...

Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend! There is also easy access via ferry to gorgeous San Fruttuoso and Portofino! There's also a train very close walking distance from the hotel that you can take to get to the Cinque Terre towns in around 45 mins. Camogli and Cenobio dei Dogi though are so beautiful you won't want to leave this town. The hotel has...

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

This hotel is awesome. Very close to the beach. Everything is close around, shopping, restaurants. Room was very nice and clean. Stuff was very friendly. We’re definitely coming back Highly recommend this hotel

What a beautiful hotel! The room was clean - the staff very helpful and the breakfast abundant. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful plus to have the van drive and then pick us up from dinner. I would certainly recommend this hotel

Anna at front desk was great !! Nice room near train station and beach front Nice place !!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

The staff is terrific, super helpful and the restaurant is wonderful

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.
