"After escaping from another cities Terrible hotel we were so happy to be at the eagle! The room was wonderful with a bathtub and super comfortable sofa. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We had hoped to eat at the restaurant, but it wasn’t open. The only reason I have it 4 stars was because of the terrible breakfast. Seemingly nothing was restocked and it was mostly empty at 8:30. "

"Unfortunately this hit by the typhoon the night got there but we did not get notified of the hotel had no guest staying except us and also we had no internet, no air con, no way of communication as nobody spoke any English. They could have us the option to move us to another hotel and they too busy trying to their hotel back to some working order than to look after us."

"The food was not very tasty and sometimes seemed old or stale. There was also constant flies and other bugs on the fruit and vegetables which made me somewhat concerned about eating. I think the intent was good but the taste and presentation of the food was not 4 or 5 stars. The staff was very kind and courteous however most of the staff had very limited English skills which made ordering room services quite difficult or making other requests.
