Summer in Vermont is all green hills, farm stands, swimming holes, lake days, mountain air, and long golden evenings. Marie Hill Farm is a peaceful summer retreat set on 12+ private acres, with plenty of room to unwind, explore, and enjoy the slower rhythm of the countryside.
Come enjoy our historic farmhouse, circa 1810, located near Chester and Londonderry. Listed on the Vermont Historic Register, the home has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm, including apple trees, blueberries, wild blackberries, open fields, and a beautiful stream. Summer brings birdsong, wildflowers, butterflies, and frequent wildlife sightings, including deer, foxes, wild turkeys, and the occasional moose.
We’re close to classic Vermont towns with dining, breweries, shopping, antiquing, farmers markets, and local attractions: Londonderry, Chester, Weston, Springfield, Ludlow, Bellows Falls and more, all within about 25 minutes.
Magic Mountain is only 3 miles away, and so is Lowell Lake State Park, a gem for fishing, paddling, picnicking, and easy summer recreation. Marie Hill Farm is also a great home base for hiking, lake days, scenic drives, farm visits, local theater, and exploring the Green Mountains.
After a day out adventuring, come back to the quiet of the farm, cook dinner, watch the evening settle over the fields, and enjoy a peaceful Vermont summer night.
