"Great property. When we ran into troubles with the hot tub the owner was super responsive. The only downside was that there were only 2 towels so I recommend taking towels for the hot tub if you plan to use it."

"We used Stonewood as a stopping off point on our way home from our holiday on the south coast. Cannot fault it at all. The little things like milk, chilled bottled water, tea and toiletries were most welcome after a long drive. Very well looked after lodge and in a great location in an area that we love."

"The Apple Store was a great choice for our long weekend break. It has everything you could ever need i cluding a well fitted kitchen, a very comfortable bed and lovely fluffy pillows. The shower was also really good, one of those you don't really want to get out of! I didn't think it was obvious from the advert but there is a dedicated car parking space hidden from the main road a few yards away. There are plenty of amenities in the village and some nice places to eat. We had good communication...

"Very pleasant, characterful and quirky cottage in a lovely area right by the river. Easy walk into town and adjacent to a lovely park.Easy communication with owners who met us at the cottage.Very clean and well-presented...clearly a lot of thought has gone into the decor.Would stay again."

"Good place for a couple, great position in the countryside but not too far from a pub and train station (20 minute walk). However cooking was a challenge: the kitchen is very sparsely equipped, there are 2 mugs, glasses, bowls, a few more plates, but that’s it. Barely any utensils ( unless you like mash, 2 potato mashers), and nothing you could use in the oven. ( interestingly this has been mentioned on another sites reviews since 2022 but Together Travel obviously don’t consider the addition of...

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection
8/10 Good
"Firstly, the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was good. Our room was in the Kings side, a separate part from the main hotel, joined together with a covered walkway. We were on the top floor (7th floor). The lift worked fine, no problems. Our room was basic and clean, but OK, except the two bedside lights didn't work, the bathroom fan didn't work, and the shower took some sorting out to find the correct temperature, the TV was old with only a few channels (this didn't bother us as we came to see Chester, not watch TV). The bed was spotless and comfortable. It had air conditioning but we never tried it. The breakfast was good with a buffet style offering cooked full English or cereal etc. There is a large car park at the side / rear of the hotel, and it cost us £30 for 48 hours."
"It's a beautiful hotel in a lovely area. The room wasn't large but really nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and everything you need.
We ate in the palm court and we found that to be lovely food in a great atmosphere.
The breakfast was good and parking and checkout easy."
"Absolutely beautiful building, set in its own grounds. The building was stunning. The staff were lovely friendly and professional. I left my handbag in the restaurant - didn’t discover I’d forgotten it until after we left the following morning. Returned safe and sound and fully intact! Evening meal at the restaurant was great, Excellent food. Brilliant service. The only things which let it down were the massive whole in the restaurant ceiling which had been temporarily sealed with plastic and wood. Our bin hadn’t been emptied in our hotel room. A few loose tiles in the bathroom. It just felt a little tired and unloved."
"Lovely stay for 5 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast items were served hot! Very welcome.
We had a large room very spacious.
Only thing that spoilt it for us in our room - poor mobile and poor WiFi in the corner by the bed.
Would recommend"
