Used this hotel a couple times & had a pretty good experience(s)... Except this time, I first got a smoking double bed room & instantly was met with a bug as soon as I entered the the bathroom. I look up & on the ceil or the door theres about 10 bugs just looking at me like i just invaded their space. I instantly changed rooms. I then got a Double Bed non smoking room which is all they had. I kept running across bugs on the floor, on the wall, in the bed, coming from under the bed. I could barely sleep...felt like something was crawling on me all night.

This was sufficient for what we needed. Not great, although it was clean. Room did smell strongly of smoke, despite the non-smoking room. We needed a bed and a bathroom - that's what we got. Normal wear and tear for an older building. The staff was friendly. Area was not terrible, but Saturday night was a little crazy. Additionally, when reading the previous reviews, no one mentioned you are directly adjacent to the train tracks. I can often tune this out, but it is worth mentioning! Room was budget friendly. We were in town on a last minute trip with limited finances, so price was a key factor. Did not spend an excessive amount of time in the hotel.

Management and employees were cordial and welcoming, however, the facilities themselves are very lacking. Our TV didn’t work and there were no normal items that are found in every other hotel in the room. Examples, iron, ironing, board, hair, dryer, blankets, etc..
