"We always stay at this hotel when in town. Things seem better, since we visited last around August of 2025. Not major complaints but it would be nice if there were more seating at the pool and if there were knobs on the refrigerators in the rooms. The refrigerator didn’t seem cold in our and the lady at the front desk immediately switched our room. All of the staff were so nice and friendly. "The hotel needed better management as far as cleanliness and they lack the ability to make the guest aware of their amenities. We were looking forward to using the pool but they fail to mention that the pool wasn’t available due to maintenance issues. This was disappointing and I had to ask if they could accommodate us in anyway and the front desk had no suggestions but for us to stay at another Fairfield 20 miles away."
"We were there 2 nights. We immediately noticed our room was dank, beyond moisture and smelled. The front desk immediately changed our room. This is why I rated staff higher. The second room was the same, as well, I assume most of the hotel was humid since they had dehumidifiers in the hallway. Even wet floor signs had to be put out on the tile.
The conditions in that room was a breeding ground for bacteria and the sheets felt like we were sleeping in slime. The smell from the wet carpet was...
