"Checking in took slightly longer than I’d like since the system seemed to be very slow, this also prolonged checking out at the snack shop which took nearly 20 minutes just for the machine to allow me to pay, but the staff were very friendly and apologetic. My room wasn’t very clean, there were several very long hairs in my sink and shower. Additionally, upon checking out I noticed that my smoke detector was covered with plastic and taped shut, making me question my safety had there been a fire and the bag prevents it from picking up the smoke. It seemed to have been there from some renovations/painting that I think was done recently at the property, since the red fire alarm in the lobby had the same blue scotch taped wrapped around it as the detector in my room. I wish I had said something to the front desk, but I had only realized the fire alarm until after I was checking out and couldn’t wait for the front desk person to finish their call. I may rethink booking here again"
