"Location is good. Quiet when I stayed there. Breakfast was Chinese style but more than adequate (coffee, fruit, toast, eggs, Chinese dishes). Ended at 9:45 so don’t go late for that last cup of coffee."

"The room was spotless and lovely and cool. The check process was the first of it's kind for us, but very efficient. The hotel staff were very helpful. It made our stay a good one. There is not a lot of touristy stuff to do in Taitung city if you do not have a car. We enjoyed what we did but having come from Hualien we were disappointed with the town."

"Luminous Hot Spring Resort Taitung. A beautiful resort in the countryside, far away from any city. Beautiful landscape, spacious rooms with their own private onsen and a great buffet restaurant with local produce and dishes of aboriginal cuisine. A great place if you want calm and tranquilty. It has a spa, a hot spring outside pool, great views and beatiful lawns were you can pass the time looking at the local flora and fauna"
Formosan Naruwan Garden Hotel

"Nice property, nice people. Right near train station which is good AND bad. You can literally walk there, but the area is in an undeveloped area with nothing but a 7-11 and Family Mart. You'll need some way to get to town center. I'm a biker so I just rode bicycle everywhere. Breakfast is bland as toufu. Same thing every day."
