"A very nice 2 bedrooms with nice patio. It is 3 stories up ( and down). Nice kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. Clothes lines just outside of the window, is easy to dry your clothes. Great location by the bus station, train station and Old Town Faro."

"We originally booked a studio, but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well maintained. The interior is a little dated in places, but everything was clean and tidy, so this didn’t bother us at all. The beds and bedding were excellent, and the bathroom was great with a good shower. The kitchen is quite basic, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Breakfast is small-scale but well presented, with everything you need. We also enjoyed relaxing...

"The apartment was clean overall and spacious, and the balconies were great with views of the golf course. Although I did not use it, the pool looked a good size and was popular with other guests. Plenty of free parking. Helpful staff the only slight negative is that there were ants in the apartment - which the hotel provided a ant spray. "

"The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special."

"After an issue checking in where our booking was lost Jose placed us in a fab Junior Suite with kitchenette, sofa and bed. All hyper clean with great view of the beach and harbour entrance. Breakfast was the best with great choice from cooked to fruit & yoghurt to pastries. Always love coming to stay and never let's us down. Always recommend Vilamoura and especially the Ampalius."

"Pros: Geräumig. Zwei Toiletten und zwei Duschen. Waschmaschine vorhanden. Continente und Pingo Doce gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Boot nach Armona und Farol/Culatra ebenso. Cons: Hellhörig, dadurch das man an der Avenida an einer Hauptstraße ist hört man v.a. die Motorräder. Es gab ein paar Mini hellbraune Ameisen, die uns aber nicht weiter beeinträchtigt haben, wenn man die Lebensmittel gut verpackt oder im Kühlschrank verstaut."
