Walking through the Medina
Known as the 'blue city' for obvious reason! An amazing place to visit - worth spending a couple of days there. We stayed at Dar Echchaouen which was outside the medina, and a real oasis from the heat!
The view of the guard tower from the manor house at the Qasaba. There is a single 'jail cell' in the bottom of this tower that reminded me of Casanova's cell in Venice. The top floor of the guard tower was so beautifully finished, that I wonder if it doubled as a living space. https://davenotravels.blog

A truly lovely place. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, it felt like being among good people rather than just staying at a hotel. Breakfast was home-cooked, healthy, and delicious. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and the Spanish Mosque.

Very beautiful place. Well maintained. The breakfast is really good. Keep in mind it’s in the medina and the streets are in rock with stairs so you need to cary your luggage. Very well placed, and staff were nice.
