"Very unique interior. It's modern and clean. Would prefer a manual on/off fan in bathroom, and individual coffee maker in room. Overall very nice stay. Would recommend for the price for sure. Also convenient access from major hwy is a plus for weary travelers like us."

"I know the room was cheaper than others I looked at but that doesn’t excuse the fact there weren’t any towels for showers and no soap to wash your hands after a bathroom visit. I was expecting a knock on the door from the maid to bring in towels. I went out for dinner and forgot about it. Next day I went into the shower and remembered they never brought me any towels. Very disappointed this happened to me. My wife told me don’t go thru 3rd party go direct to the motel hotel. Learned a lesson."

"I appreciate the consistent quality of Holiday Inns, however, I do wish they would consistently offer breakfast as part of your stay. Breakfast is listed in the amenities, but is not included; a buffet breakfast can be purchased for an additional fee. The hotel was clean and the accommodations were quite comfortable with the exception of the small refrigerator not having a freezer section. The staff were friendly and lovely and I enjoyed my stay. My room had a lovely view of the Appalachian mountains to get me excited for my day of exploring."

"Very clean, quiet and conveniently located lodge at a reasonable price. It was just remodeled in retro style, which is very neat. Lots of parking. No breakfast but coffee and tea station is open all day. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We travel to Roanoke often so we definitely will stay here again "

"We’ve stayed in many Hampton Inns throughout the eastern seaboard, this hotel is by far the best one. It started by being greeted as guest of the day! The room and hotel were sparkling clean. We even saw a member of the cleaning staff cleaning all parts of the tables in the breakfast area and the elevators, too. I’ve never seen that. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee tasted so good! Thank you for such an exceptional and memorable stay on our long road trip."

"Definitely simplified living away from home. No microwave in room, nor lobby, and no simplified pricing. Therefore, you get less and still pay more. I have stayed at several Tru properties, all are clean and staff friendly "
