The room was very well lit and auper clean. The recessed lights gave off a lot of heat but the a/c offset that. The bed was fabulous. Breakfast was nothing to write home about bit other than that it is a great hotel

Wonderful non chain motel

Wonderful staff and a great room. Easy parking and breakfast in the morning. We will definitely make this our normal stop when we drive back in forth from Florida to Chicago

The inn was great! Spacious room, comfortable bed and possibly one of the best showers I've had in a while! I can see why people keep returning here. I was a bit inconvenienced because my room was up a flight of stairs and i had to drag all my stuff up, but once I got to the room, I had no issues! One thing to note is that there's no real breakfast here. You'll get packaged muffins, donuts, digestive biscuits, yoghurt and juice. They were fresh, but not proper breakfast like some of the comments and the manager suggested.

You can tell the owner of this hotel really puts his heart and soul into it. The showers we read about in other reviews did not disappoint. Coolest shower I’ve ever taken! It was recently renovated so everything is very up to date. He has a cute little garden in the back you can tell is being hand grown. Would stay again!
