This hotel advertises airport transfers and a Chinese restaurant they don’t exist. You have to pay daily on the beach for chairs. Food and alcohol were not the greatest. Wouldn’t come back due to the mold in the bathroom and state of the room.

Truly some amazing people and a great place

An excellent stay with truly wonderful staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the entire experience incredible. Highly recommended!

Very poor English skills and absolute zero knowledge of other languages can be challenging for guests who do not speak English. The pool is miniature, shallow, and there is a huge lack of order regarding sunbed reservation (be prepared that some jerk will simply throw away your towels and lie on your sunbed while you are in the restroom or getting a drink, and the staff won't do anything about it). The animation program is also very poor. The food is repetitive, but you won't stay hungry. Local drinks are terrible, juices are overly sweet, and you won't see a lemon even in traces. You cannot get a fresh lemonade even for money. The guy who drives the golf cart to the beach (better known as Habibi) is an absolute gem of a man. The rooms are clean, and the maid comes every day. You only get water upon arrival; later you have to buy it. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are charged. Realistically, I would barely give this hotel three stars.

- clogged shower drain that would create a pool within seconds - no hot water in the bathroom sink - leaky plumbing in shower - cockroaches - mold all over the grouting in the shower - meals that were reheated day to day; some foods were so unbearably stale and dry that you couldn’t even chew and swallow them - vegetables that sat around for days on end; you can tell by how stale and dried out the tomatoes and cucumbers were - towels that don’t smell washed but rather moldy - maids were friendly - broken fridge - no 24/7 airport shuttle as advertised - you can tell gym is neglected; equipment padding smells and even saw someone spitting in the room while they were working out. Wiping down the equipment left my towel completely black. - prices for excursions and trips are way more expensive then what you can find just walking a couple of minutes along the main road - first time hearing about an all inclusive that charges for sun-beds at the beach - all inclusive drinks are mixtures of the lowest quality liquors and high-sugar syrups. Became unbearable a couple of days into my trip. - nightly entertainment was of the lowest quality. Host forcing guests to drink Ouzo for simply standing up during the game. - there is no indoor rooftop garden - need some major renovations, maintenance and management change to live up to the “5-star hotel with an amazing sea view” advertised

We had a fantastic stay in the hotel. Hotel is located 5 min of walk from the beautiful beach. Amazing service and friendly staff. An excellent choice of food served. Would decently recommended.

The property was nice as expected. All inclusive really wprth the price. Got an upgrade of the room for free. The roim with the private sharing pool was very nice and furnished. The hotel was massive and the amenties very nice. Food was great with different options available.

The hotel was very cute and quite. Staff were very helpful and friendly. But this hotel for sure is not a five star as the hotel is very old and need refurbishment, also the food is not for a five star hotel, food options is very limited, i have been to many all inclusive hotels and never seen some thing like this.

The big plus is friendly staff, good kitchen, value for money when on all inclusive. Otherwise, there are some things which need attention. That said, I would like to thank Louis the general manager for taking time to listen to what I had to say. By the way, the hotel group have another property that is the Galini Palace.

Chania break

Gallini hotel was a nice stay. The staff were really good - reception, dining room, and room service. They provided a really professional, and friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Sofia - customer relations Manageress. She helped us with tours, transfers, and good advice on excursions which we wholeheartedly appreciate. Gallini provided us with an extremely relaxed vacation. Thank you

Our first day is quite bad as they gave us a room that is not as im expecting from the photo advetisement... after i complained they moved as to a nicer rooom which makes me happy and comfortable. Its an all inclusive hotel ...food are always same everyday so i have to skip the dining most of the times and eat outside... anyways i still enjoyed my holiday ... great place to relax

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location it offers a nice view and is just a few minutes from the beach. However, the rooms are outdated and fall far short of a 5-star standard. The restaurant is chaotic, with a lack of seating, dirty tables, and repetitive food that is often cold by the time you get to the table. The Albanian bar staff, particularly the manager at the pool bar, are extremely rude and clearly inexperienced. Drinks are charged for after 11 PM ( even for all inclusive guests) Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again. Don’t be fooled by the pictures or pricing it does not match the advertised quality. This hotel is a 3 star hotel not 5 for sure.

Holiday in Crete

The hotel should not be 5 star, we would give it 3. Private pool very small also not secured so anybody can come in via terrace. I did not like bathroom not nice colours and it does not look like bathroom in 5 star hotel at all. Room itsepf was nice ,same sitting area in patio. Food ok but same all the time and nothing amazing but I was ok as I could always find things to eat. I did not like they did not have tea/ coffee at lunch and dinner time on the restaurant ( you had to go to reception or pool bar).location ok, good communication to chania by bus. Beach ok.

The hotel seems a bit worn. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday and perhaps are not very young, you should not choose this hotel. The music by the pool is very loud, and let's just say the music selection is very youthful. If you have a room facing the pool, the music can be heard clearly from 10 AM to 10-11 PM every day. We tried to address this, but we were not taken seriously. We have stayed at the hotel several times, but this was the last time. We are around 60 and generally quite up-to-date, but this was far beyond acceptable. Many agreed.

an unfortunate experience

we were firstly offered a room in the depths of the hotel which was almost inaccesable with approx 20 steps we were then given a room which had no wardrobes no cupboards and no draw space and had to live out of our suitecase for the week the internal phone did not work at all there were no pluses at about this hotel and should never be rated as five star which we expected and think that you should send a rep for first hand experience

Room for improvements

Over all experience, it’s okay, the hotel is in need of refurbishment especially exteriors areas just some of the examples again, this might be a one off, but this is my personal experience no air condition on and off for 48 hours in temperatures, reaching 46c outside No water running at times during my 5 day stay also there is charge for all and then refunded at the end of the stay example need towels €10 euro each need a extra key €10 euros never been charged in a 5 star hotel before ? This hotel is more like a 3 star to 4 star at best But staff was very helpful and polite. I think it’s just the rules for the hotel that have been put in place that had to follow, but they could not be so more to help you considering the circumstances.

Property exterior looks good but it’s not very well clean and maintained. Our room had mould on walls. Bathroom smells of dirty stagnant water. Mould around shower door and sink. Our leak we flooded the bathroom and had to stay in room for two nights before we got a different room. My daughter has allergies which prone to skin conditions exposure to dust and inhale of mould. I have all the pictures of how disgusting the room is and even when we were change room was a bit better but still dirty. House keepers did understand when we explain about the bathroom and dust everywhere. They came and use bleach to mask the scent of the stagnant water. The positive was choice of food was different ever from the main restaurant.

Property definitely not 5 star ! Many things not as expected after previous 5 star experiences! Pool was very small , made to seem mich bigger on advertising, surrounded by balconese beds which was intimidating! rooms alrhough clean were under equipped- no drawers ? Open wardrobe , no mirror above vanity table, although vanity stool was there ? Pool towel exchange in a basket in front of reception - very unsuitable and untidy! Bathroom areas around reception not checked and cleaned during the day - was needed. Entertainment was very poor - disappointed no Greek music, dancing. Good points- breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, cleaners worked hard , staff were generally very pleasant, although on checking out nobody thanked us for staying and basically ignored us , just chatting amongst themselves - topped off quite an underwhelming stay.

BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE

This place was horrendous! If you’re looking for a beautiful, typical Greece getaway then do not stay here. This was more of a Mexican style resort. Including Mexican food at the buffet??? The staff was extremely rude and arrogant, and spoke behind your back in Greek. There is no customer service at all. They stated that this property is on the beach. It is NOT and I repeat it is NOT on the beach! You have to walk quite a bit to get to the beach. The pictures look absolutely nothing like the hotel does in person. The lobby is dark, dreary, and dirty. Going into breakfast buffet in the morning there were still sauce stains from the night before. They do not do a good job cleaning the rooms. They basically just do the beds. We had to get them up there because we had a huge bug in the washroom. They didn’t even clean the washroom. We had a cup on the bug…And they didn’t even step foot in the washroom. Overhearing other guests complaining that it was three days and their room was not cleaned. I can’t understand how a resort like this is running so poorly. Ahtni who is one of the drivers of a golf cart that gets you halfway down a very steep hill is the only good thing about that hotel. She was extremely kind, friendly and gave you information something that the front desk couldn’t seem to do she should be a manager behind the desk because the other managers on staff were completely useless. When you would complain, they would care less. The music by the pool is loud rap crap!

Misleading tourist-trap - keep away

This was one of the worst hotel-experiences I have ever had. I cannot discourage you enough to NOT book this place. They have, first of all, totally misunderstood the concept of all-inclusive. They have two A4 pages with "rules" written in letter size 6, where they for an example write that you are not allowed to "reserve" the sunbed at the hotel, which are an good rule. The problem is that people actually do reserve them. All bed by the pools are normally taken by 0400, so we need to go down to the hotels part of the beach - where you need to pay for the beds - even if you have all inclusive. The food at the place are almost uneatable,even the special restaurants (which you can only use once in your trip (as long as you are there for more than a week). The wine which are included in the all inclusive are non-drinkable and taste like an combination off gasoline and fusel. And when we are at the topic of drinks. They have several bars at the hotel, but you can only use them at specific hours a day. The hotelbar (near the lobby) can you only use after 1800, even if there stands a bartender there. On their meny, it stands that they have Coca Cola, Cola Zero and light. But if you ask for a zero, they dont understand what you mean. when you then ask for a coke - you do not get a Coca Cola - you will get an unidentifiable coke which taste are awful and without carbonation. Last, the road to the hotel - omg. My legs have never gotten so much exercise in my life. Advice: stay away

Kaiken kaikkiaan oli hyvä loma. Sekään ei haitannut, että hotelli sijaitsee kukkulalla – hotellin järjestämä kuljetus alas kaupunkiin ja takaisin toimii vaivattomasti 5 minuutin välein aamusta klo 23 asti. Ruoka oli toki hieman yksitoikkoista, mutta yleisesti ottaen kaikki oli hyvin. 👌

Osa ravintoloista oli kiinni, aikainen aamiainen ei ollut mitä luvattiin, tv ei toiminut kuin parina päivänä, kaikkien aterioiden lihat olivat kuivia, siivooja vei käteiset rahat huoneesta joka toki oli oma virhe kun tuli ne sinne jätettyä.
