"Beautiful property, gorgeous deck. This is our second time renting this property. Owner is great to work with and communicates promptly. Almost certainly will be a 3rd time renter."
Charming 3-bedroom house in the heart of Saint Francisville La.

"This is our second time staying at this house, and we really enjoy staying here. The spacious three-bedroom layout is perfect for our family. The house is very clean and comes with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The house is not in the main town area, but downtown isn’t far. The host is responsive and helpful, often allowing an early check-in. Within walking distance, you’ll find a a little bar, two antique shops, and a grocery store. It’s also just a mile away from the iconic Myrtles Plantation. We’re already planning our third visit next year!"
"Excellent experience! The property was gorgeous and immaculate. Our room which was supposed to be the most haunted was so clean and beautiful.
There was a restaurant and bar on site and it was so cozy and welcoming. The staff were all amazing and friendly.
The night tour was so much fun and Great tour guide. Went to LA. For 5 days and this was definitely my favorite part of the vacation."
"Years ago, I had the opportunity to stay at Desert Plantation for an overnight business planning retreat. I remember thinking then what a beautiful place it would be to bring my family back for a weekend getaway someday. Fast forward a few years, and we finally did just that! Our family recently stayed at Desert Plantation and had such a wonderful weekend! My husband and I have six children, and the oldest two came with their spouses. We had a party of 10, and the home accommodated all of us comfortably. If you’re looking for somewhere to unplug, relax, and simply enjoy being together, this is a beautiful place to do it. The property is private and secluded, so when you rent it, it’s just your group—no other guests coming and going. We grilled by the pool, enjoyed the gorgeous grounds and canopy of live oak trees, and even had our family pictures taken while we were there. The guys were even able to watch the game, so everyone was happy! The house is a historic plantation home, so you should expect the charm and character that comes with an older property rather than a modern hotel feel. I had seen some older reviews mentioning concerns about the condition of the property and odors, but we did not experience those issues during our stay. The house was very well stocked. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, eating, and serving. We really only needed to bring our food and drinks. For a large family or group wanting a peaceful, private place to spend quality time together, Desert Plantation was perfect for us. We made some wonderful memories and would absolutely recommend it! 🤍"
"Pam is a great host, easy to reach if you have any questions. The location of the property is secluded just enough to give you the in the woods feeling. The beds were very comfortable, the dining table and chairs were spacious. The screen porch and deck is an added bonus. Plan to return."
"Took my girlfriend out to St Francisville for a surprise bday weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cabin is great for a relaxing weekend getaway or if you’re a creative type (like me) and enjoy escaping the city for some inspiration."
