"The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable inside. From the inside it seemed like a really nice hotel. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. The neighborhood is pretty bad. We were planning to walk to some of the places nearby, but we ran into a lot of homeless people on our walk. There's a mcdonald's with a late night drive through right next to the hotel, and there was a lot of noise due to the customers and hobos hanging out there. Overall I give this hotel a good score, because it was really nice (apart from the neighborhood) and the concierge earns the hotel an extra star all by herself. Just don't plan to stroll around outside. "

"Room was good. The AC seemed to have kind of a diesel fume smell when the fan was on high, but on medium it was fine."

"We absolutely loved our stay here at the Lodge! Yes you have to carry your luggage up some stairs, but we had a wonderful time. Friday night we ate dinner at the restaurant, and Sat we grabbed some pizza and beers after a day of hiking. Staff was very helful and also let us check in early. We will definitely be back since we missed crystal cave."

"You really can’t beat the price when it comes to how close this is to downtown and the Golden 1 Center. However, be aware that cleanliness is not a priority here. I would not stay longer than one night. A place to just get ready and refresh but definitely not to just chill. "

"Check in staff was unfriendly. They insisted they upgraded our room to a kind size bed when our reservation was already paid for for a king size bed reservation. I am glad they honored what we had booked but their attitude was a real turn off. Check out staff was wonderful. "

"We were in a tiny room just across from the main desk. There was hallway/lobby noise at all hours and the bed was too firm to be comfortable."

"Rooms were basic but in good condition. Bathroom was nice. The lounge was our most favorite part. It was very warmly decorated and relaxing place. "
