Hotel Sigiriya

"We had a great stay at Hotel Sigiriya! The views of Sigiriya Rock were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was comfortable enough for our stay. The pool looked lovely as well, although unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it. There were two disappointments during our stay. First, before arriving, I contacted the hotel management to request a simple birthday surprise—a decorated room with a “Happy Birthday” message and a small cake. The hotel acknowledged the request, and I even noticed it written in the corner of our check-in paperwork. Unfortunately, the request was overlooked and the surprise never happened. It was a missed opportunity to make an already wonderful stay truly special. Hopefully, they can follow through next time! The second disappointment was on our second day. The cleaning staff made an elephant out of towels and placed it on our bed. When we dismantled it to use the towels, we realized that they appeared to be our previously used towels. We found this quite concerning and unsanitary, especially since used towels had been arranged and placed directly on the bed. Despite these issues, we had a lovely overall stay, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and appreciated the friendly service. With a little more attention to these details, the hotel could make the experience truly exceptional. We would consider staying again and hope for an even better experience next time."

"This was amongst the best places I had booked for myself and my mother on our month long trip in Sri Lanka! Mostly because of how attentive the staff was! Especially Tsurn, Imandha and Pahurm. I may have their spelling wrong, but these 3 gentlemen were a big reason why my stay here was amazing! Thank you so much!"

"The Sevena City Hotel was the perfect base for our visit to Kandy. It was an easy walk to city center and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. We were close to the Kandy Esala Perahera routes but far enough away to not feel caught up in the chaos. I would highly recommend the hotel if visiting Kandy."
Sigiriya Jungles

"An amazing place in the middle of the jungle. Monkeys. Lizards? Butterflies all around this resort. Amazing staff. Amazing spa both Rajitha and Erandi treated me and my girlfriend with a 90 minute massage. The massage is very relaxing not like a Thai, Swedish or sports massage. The food is varied and good. Loved the breakfast because of the omelette station. Had dinner there one evening and the options were amazing. Local food is really good I would advise anyone to try local before sticking to their home country food like spaghetti. Perfectly located to visit the Rocks for the hikes. Perfectly located to visit the elephants and wildlife in Minneriya Park. We visited in August. Often find Geckos in your room which is fine as your in a jungle, if you don’t like nature then not sure what to tell you. The showers were very nice. Didn’t go in the pool but the monkeys did 😂 Great resort would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Sirigiya."

"Great hotel and location, easy walk or tuk tuk ride to the city centre. Our room was spacious and with a balcony which was a bonus and had a great view. The pool area is on the rooftop and the bar serves good food. Great hotel"

"The hotel is located very convenient near the temple of the sacred tooth relic. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We came by car and could park at the hotel car parking in front of the hotel. From there we were incredibly friendly and sufficient guided through the whole process. Within no time we were in our rooms.. with a nice few and wonderful balcony. The diner and breakfast were wonderful. The owner of the hotel can be proud on this staff group!! Also the Barista across the street was a big plus."
