On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile. On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. This is a beautiful guest house away from the town center, about 5-10 minutes by car. Trigan and the staff were always very helpful. Breakfast was good. It can get cold in this area, so be prepared with jackets just in case

Very welcoming and pleasant environment

This was an amazing stay! Cozy room, nice breakfast, clean facilities, and excellent staff. The views were incredible. Easy to get to the main sites if you had access to a vehicle. No complaints at all! Note: The inn is up an extremely steep hill, so you'll need a vehicle to get there.

This property is pretty unique in its location, away from "the rest of the world". You really are in nature, surrounded by nothing else than rice paddies, lake, and such a variety of birds. It is peaceful, staff are very friendly and helpful, food is excellent and will accommodate vegetarian and gluten free needs. There is nothing I can fault our experience on!

We accidentally found this fabulous hotel due to sudden change of our vacation plan. Hotel is located in very calm quiet area within 10 km from Sigiriya local ticketing office. We had an unexpectedly wonderful time in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and supportive. Hotel has two well maintained pools and beautiful restaurant. Just an excellent, excellent stay from start to finish in this historic Colonial building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the team really just was top notch and really cared about quality of food. The loft was a hit with the kids and the fine correction of loose tea was very much appreciated. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The kids dipped their legs in the pool, but also didn't have the chance to swim due to time constraints....

Everything was absolutely perfect from the grounds, the room, the staff. We absolutely loved the attention we received and would highly recommend it.

Excellent service, location and staff

I absolutely loved this place! My family and I stayed here for two nights while we were in Sri Lanka for our winter vacation. Prior to our arrival, the owner of the hotel contacted me, and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. Lovely property in beautiful location. Far enough from Kandy to be very quiet but close enough for excursions. Very high level of finish and quality.

Few things were super impressive as follows: 1) All the staffs were so helpful, welcoming and always there for us when we needed. 2) If you prefer something that gives you a traditional vibes apart from a concrete high rise building this place is highly recommended. 3) The entire place was neat and clean along with worthy prices. Besides these nothing was found by me which is problematic or annoying. Long story short,I liked staying there.

Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable.
